He was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and currently lives in San Diego with his wife, Cait, and parrot, Ruby. Doug attended Baylor University as an undergrad and obtained MBA from the University of Florida. He is also an active-duty Navy officer since 2009. His first purchase of a property was in 2016.
